One of my goals this year was to earn an A in Precalculus, and finishing the first semester with that grade felt incredibly rewarding. The class challenged me with new topics that required patience, consistent practice, and a different way of thinking than previous math courses. There were definitely times when concepts didn’t click right away, but working through extra problems and staying disciplined paid off.
As someone interested in industrial engineering, I know that math is an important foundation for the future. Precalculus has helped me strengthen my problem-solving skills and taught me to approach difficult questions step by step instead of getting discouraged. Reaching this milestone has given me more confidence going into the rest of the course and future math classes.
This experience reminded me that steady effort produces results. I’m excited to keep building my skills and continue my journey toward becoming an industrial engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems through efficiency and optimization.
