About Me
Hi! My name is Jay, and I am currently a high school student with a strong interest in industrial engineering. I am especially interested in optimization, system design, and improving efficiency in everyday processes.

Tracking Real-World Efficiency Ideas
I first became interested in industrial engineering while observing the stagnancy of cafeteria lines at my school. This issue fascinated me, causing me to explore why this system was so inefficient. As I looked deeper, I began to read countless articles about bottlenecks, points of congestion in a production system, as well as their effects on the workplace and other environments’ productivity. Many of these sources showcased practical solutions that minimize or prevent inefficiencies from occurring, thus improving overall performance significantly. Through this observation, I realized how crucial a role system design plays in society, which solidified my interest in pursuing industrial engineering to improve real-world systems and processes.
