Starting my own school club

One of the most exciting opportunities I have had this year is helping co-found a Financial Literacy Club at my school. As someone who is interested in leadership, organization, and helping others develop important life skills, I am excited to serve as the club’s Vice President of Operations.

Financial literacy is a topic that impacts everyone, yet many students do not have the opportunity to learn about budgeting, saving, investing, credit, and other personal finance concepts in depth. Our goal is to create an environment where students can gain practical financial knowledge that will benefit them long after graduation. Through meetings, discussions, guest speakers, and interactive activities, we hope to make financial education both engaging and accessible.

As Vice President of Operations, I will help organize meetings, coordinate club activities, manage logistics, and ensure that events run smoothly. I am especially excited to work behind the scenes to create a well-structured organization that can grow and make a lasting impact on our school community. Strong operations are essential to any successful organization, and I look forward to helping establish systems that allow our club to function efficiently.

Beyond teaching financial concepts, our club aims to encourage responsible decision-making and build confidence in students as they prepare for their futures. We want members to leave with skills they can apply in college, careers, and everyday life.

I am grateful for the opportunity to help launch this organization and work alongside a dedicated group of student leaders. I am excited to see how the club develops and the positive impact it can have on our school for years to come.
